BELGRADE FASHION WEEK DESIGN COLLECTIVE

BELGRADE FASHION WEEK is one of the leading fashion events in the region, bringing together the most prominent Serbian designers, fashion brands, and renowned international labels. It also showcases talented young and international designers, attracting extensive coverage from both local and foreign media.

A cornerstone project of this prestigious event is the BFW Design Collective Association. This non-governmental organization unites professionals from various fashion industry sectors with a shared mission: to develop and elevate the local fashion scene. The association has become a network connecting over 80 independent Serbian designers dedicated to contemporary fashion and small-scale production.

The most significant aspect of Belgrade Fashion Week is its promotion of sustainable and ethical fashion practices, which inspired the creation of the BFW Design Collective. The collective strives to blend high-quality promotion of local design within Serbia and internationally, achieving a harmonious balance between fashion’s artistic and business facets. The BFW Design Collective is committed to supporting and investing in independent designers and emerging talents. It also champions developing and promoting cultural diversity, offering innovative interpretations of cultural heritage within the fashion domain.
